Be Thankful for Your Smile

Thanksgiving is the time of year we all gather with family in friends to enjoy quality time and give thanks for the blessings of harvest. The fourth Thursday in November, we have a traditional turkey feast with an assortment of sides and delicious deserts. This is the time everyone asks “What are you thankful for?” There are many reasons to give thanks, but Westchase Premier Dental wants everyone to have confidence and be thankful for your smile!

From Thanksgiving to Christmas & New Years, it is a busy season for most people. Shopping, traveling and parties keep most of us running until the turn of the new year. People often run short on time this time of year and put their dental healthcare on the back burner. There is a common tendency to put off dental treatment until the new year begins. This is a missed opportunity for finding any dental problems early and having a vibrant and healthy smile throughout the holidays.

Some may view oral health as an unnecessary factor in overall health and neglect visiting the dentist. However, yearly check-ups are so important for your oral health and your overall health as well. The majority of dental problems do not become visible or painful until they are more advanced. When you put off dental exams, you run the risk of more extensive and expensive dental treatment later.

This is also the season for spending. Holiday shopping, air fares and hotel stays can all break the bank and leave us feeling the financial strain. Many people will put off much needed dental treatment when they feel they cannot afford the expense. Remember, most dental plans cover a cleaning and exam every 6 months. If you do not have dental insurance, don’t deny yourself a beautiful and healthy smile. We accept CareCredit so you can get the dental treatment you need now and make easy monthly payments later.

The Westchase Premier Dental staff wants everyone to fully enjoy time with family and friends with a confident and beautiful smile. Give us a call at (813) 475 – 4528 and be thankful for your smile this holiday season!
