National Keep America Beautiful Month – April

April 6, 2016 by Dr. John0
It’s National Keep America Beautiful Month!

National Keep America Beautiful Month has been celebrated each year in April through the efforts of the non-profit organization called Keep America Beautiful, established in 1953. This campaign has been a nationwide effort to unite individuals, businesses, government agencies and schools across America to take greater responsibility for improving their community’s environment.

“Keep America Beautiful focuses on three key issues: litter prevention, waste reduction/recycling and community greening & beautification. This is accomplished through a combination of community organizing, public education and the fostering of public/private partnerships.â€

Throughout National Keep America Beautiful Month, focus on ways you and your family & friends can help make our country a more beautiful place. Get the children involved and teach them about litter prevention, recycling & waste reduction, and the importance of community support. Start fun and creative projects to clean and beautify your community. Planting a tree or flowers, painting a fence, or cleaning up debris around the community are all great projects to help keep America looking her best.

Westchase Premiere Dental would like your help in spreading the word about National Keep America Beautiful Month. Share this article and inspire others to take action.
